This one-day event focusses on the behaviour and welfare of farm, laboratory, companion and zoo animals.
The event will be held at “De Hooibeekhoeve” in Geel, Belgium (Antwerp province’s extension research station for dairy cattle). The conference focusses on oral presentations although posters are allowed at the author’s request. Also, there will be a tour of De Hooibeekhoeve's facilities. It is possible to attend without presenting.
€30 (ISAE members) / €50 (non-members). This includes lunch and coffee breaks, but not dinner. Dinner is optional and will cost approximately €20.

BSc./MSc. students can apply for free registration by writing a motivation letter. This letter should indicate the student's interest in animal behaviour and/or welfare, supply a concise summary of scientific background and mention why she/he would like to attend the conference. Motivation letters can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
